These Terms of Use govern your use of the ScanLite iOS application (the “App”), provided by Levin Schwab (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms.
1. The App
ScanLite is a document scanner that creates PDF files entirely on your device. Core scanning and PDF export are free. An optional one-time in-app purchase (“Pro”) unlocks additional features such as OCR text layers, merging, image export and password protection.
2. One-time purchase
Pro is a single non-consumable in-app purchase. It is not a subscription and does not auto-renew. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to the Apple Media Services Terms. You may restore a previous purchase on your devices signed in to the same Apple ID.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and only on documents you have the right to scan and store.
4. No warranty
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that OCR results are error-free. You are responsible for keeping copies of important documents.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the App.
6. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
